ACREL charging station metering helps promote green travel
With the rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry in Malaysia, the construction of charging infrastructure is entering a high-speed development stage. In this process, precise, reliable and intelligent energy metering products have become the core link to ensure the efficiency and revenue of charging operations. With years of technological accumulation in the field of power monitoring, ACREL Electric has launched a series of metering solutions specifically designed for the charging pile scenario – ADL200N, ADL400N and DJSF1352-D DC energy meters, comprehensively covering various application scenarios such as AC slow charging, three-phase fast charging and DC fast charging. Provide cost-effective and highly compatible metering support for local charging pile manufacturers, operators and system integrators in Malaysia.
The ADL200N and ADL400N are rail-mounted multifunctional energy meters designed for new energy systems, widely applicable to photovoltaic grid-connected, energy storage systems and front-end distribution metering of charging piles. Among them, the ADL200N is suitable for single-phase AC charging pile systems, with 0.5 grade measurement accuracy and B grade energy metering accuracy, supports bidirectional active/reactive energy metering, and enables anti-reverse flow control and energy dispatch management. Compact (only 4 module width), with standard DIN rail mounting, it saves a lot of cabinet space. The ADL400N is designed for three-phase four-wire or three-phase three-wire systems and is suitable for centralized metering of high-power AC piles or station-level distribution boxes. It supports phase-by-phase measurement and independent data display, allowing operation and maintenance personnel to grasp the load status of each phase in real time and detect three-phase imbalance problems promptly.
Both meters are equipped with RS485 communication interfaces and support Modbus-RTU protocol, allowing for easy access to various energy management systems (EMS) or charging pile operation platforms for remote meter reading, data monitoring and fault warning. The built-in segment code LCD display allows for cyclic viewing of key parameters such as voltage, current, power, frequency, and cumulative energy through buttons, making on-site debugging and maintenance more convenient. In terms of environmental adaptability, the operating temperature range is from -40 ° C to +70 ° C, fully meeting the stable operation requirements under the high temperature and high humidity climate conditions in Malaysia, ensuring long-term maintenance-free use.
In response to the growing market demand for DC fast charging, ACREL has launched the DJSF1352-D series of DC energy meters, which are specifically designed for energy measurement within DC charging piles. The series is available in two specifications: DJSF1352-D-360 (up to 360A) and DJSF1352-D-600 (up to 600A). It can precisely measure DC voltage (0-1000V), current, power and forward and reverse energy with an accuracy of grade 1 (B), fully conforming to national metrological standards. The instrument is designed with high isolation and has 4.4kV power frequency withstand voltage and ±6kV impulse withstand voltage, ensuring safe and stable operation in complex electromagnetic environments.
The DJSF1352-D supports dual RS485 communication (with the optional display module DJSF1352-L) and is compatible with various communication protocols such as Modbus-RTU and DL/T645-2007, facilitating seamless integration with the main control board of the charging pile and the background platform. Users can set parameters such as address, baud rate, and pulse constant via panel keys, and support power reset function to meet different requirements for commercial settlement and equipment debugging. Its rail-mounted design and compact structure make it ideal for integration into DC charging module cabinets, significantly reducing the difficulty of system integration.
Whether it’s AC slow charging stations in residential communities, three-phase charging stations in commercial parks, or DC fast charging networks along highways, the ADL200N, ADL400N and DJSF1352-D all offer mature and reliable metering “nerve endings”. They not only enhance the overall intelligence level of the charging piles, but also provide transparent and reliable electricity consumption data for investors and operators, helping to achieve refined operation and maximize return on investment. Choosing ACREL means choosing a stable, accurate and future-compatible charging metering path.
